Meet Brad

My story is unique. I didn't choose construction, it chose me. I was studying pre-med at Sacramento State univesity when i bought my first fixer upper house. I was fortunate enough to have a father in-law who taught me how to do some remodeling. I fell in love. I always enjoyed learning how things worked and being able to do stuff. I started helping friends and family with their homes, suddenly people were asking me to do their remodels for them. When I graduated from Sacramento State my favorite professor asked me "which med school are you going to?" and I replied, "I'm going into construction". It was an answer that shocked him as much as myself saying the words. I had decided I loved remodeling homes more than writing prescriptions and reading charts. I set off working for a premier home builder in the area and worked my way from journeyman to foreman, and then project manager. After many years I realized it was time for me to put my own stamp on the industry and open my own company. I use my life experience and passion for helping people as the backbone for Farmhouse Builders. Everything we do is rooted in the customer experience founded on the things I was taught by my mentor, molded by who I am as a person.
